Today I am spending my day sitting at somewhere we call “The WIFI Lounge”. There is free wifi, couches and a coffee shop upstairs, what more can I need to be productive?!
I have started coming here on Tuesday’s to avoid distractions at home and find the motivation to do some school work, while Shaun (my husband) is at work and school himself. He takes face to face classes, so after a long day of working 4:30am to 3pm, he heads off to the gym and then to class from 6pm to 9pm. Basically, all this means is I have Tuesdays to myself because he is so busy. So, I figured I needed to get my act together and not waste my Tuesday’s. I’m trying to get as much of my crap done I can on this one day of the week, so I have the rest of my week to do whatever I please.
So here I am, sitting at the wifi lounge, people watching, not doing school work. But, I am doing a blog post for ya’ll, so that counts for something right?
Okay, I did do some work… I spent the last 3 hours trying to solve A math problem, yes a single math problem. After those 3 hours, I did finally solve it correctly though so I guess it wasn’t for nothing lol!
For today’s blog post, I am showing ya’ll one way to style a fedora for spring. I feel like when most people see a hat, like a fedora, they can be scared away, but I’m all up in there saying, “gimme all these hats!” In my opinion, hats are a great way to accessorize an outfit if you aren’t a big jewelry person. Luckily for me, I am both types of people, so I can show you the ways to glam up your outfits in both categories.
This fedora is one that I found a few years ago, but I found the best dupe for less than $8!! Sayyyy whaaaa??? Yes, less than $8! This is a great price point to just buy it and make that attempt to get out of your comfort zone a little bit and try something new. I mean 8 isn’t much more than a specialty coffee at Starbucks these days!
I paired my hat with some statement earrings… Don’t be afraid to mix your hats with lots of fun, big jewelry. It’s totally something I love to do like you can see. The jacket is a purchase I recently made specifically for Spring because in Germany the weather is always chilly, so I needed a good jacket that could take me into those awkward temps. It’s light weight, yet it blocks the wind so you don’t freeze when it blows.
These jeans are amazing to say the least. High waisted with busted knees, Free People, you have done good! Size up in these babies, I’m wearing my normal size 27/4 here and I definitely am exchanging these for a size 28/6 so I have a little more wiggle room when washing and drying. Lastly these espadrilles was a major score my mom found last year at Payless Shoes. Again though, I found an awesome dupe for y’all that is only $32.
Another totally random comment, I am almost to 1,000 followers on Instagram!! I just want to thank you all for following me and supporting me because without ya’ll I wouldn’t be able to do what I do!
